We are a very friendly active Aero Club and are the home of recreational flying in Hawke’s Bay
From our origins in 1928 on the original Club airfield at Longlands to the present day at our fully owned and operated aerodrome at Bridge Pa, the Hawke’s Bay & East Coast Aero Club has been enabling the people of Hawke’s Bay to learn to fly and enjoy the freedom of flight.
We welcome any enquiries that you may have, and if you do have any questions, or you wish to find out more about our Aero Club’s activities, then please contact one of our Committee Members (see the contacts page) or contact our friendly office team.
Better yet, come and see for yourself. We are open 7 days a week but you will find most Club activities happening on the weekends. Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons are always a good time to come and meet the Club members and see all manner of flying in action.
