Cessna 172 – C172R ZK-JKA

  • The Cessna 172 is one of the most popular 4 seat aircraft made with its high wing offering excellent visibility. It is also a popular cross country machine and can be used for initial flight training.

Piper Archer/Warrior – PA 28 ZK-FQQ

  • These four seat aircraft are ideal cross country machines. Pilots traditionally progress onto these machines after completing their Licence, but they can be used for initial flight training

Piper Tomahawks – PA 38 ZK-JTC , ZK-EQB, ZK-JHF

  • The Piper Tomahawk is a popular and versatile 2 seat trainer used as our primary trainer for ab initio through to Commercial Pilots’ Licence training

VANS RV12 – RV12 ZK-SMB

  • The RV12 is a popular micro-light 2 seat trainer used for ab initio through to micro-light pilot licence. 

  • A great sporty little aircraft that some of our members describe as like a "go kart"

  • This aircraft was built by a group of 7 young students, under the supervision of microlight engineers as a part of the "Hawke's Bay Student Aircraft Build" scheme.

Cessna 152s – C152 ZK-TUT and  C152 Aerobat ZK-FWK

  • The Cessna 152 is a popular and versatile 2 seat trainer used for ab initio through to Private Pilots’ Licence. The 152 Aerobat version also allows aerobatic training.
